The future project department at Civia  were given a remit to design and manufacture  an urban  commuter  bike  that would deliver performance, and reliability at great value price. Following extensive  research  department  produced plans for the the Civia Linden Commuter Bike, the root beer colored bicycle, which  has gained  wide  acceptance with  riders  world wide  

The Civia Linden City bike  provides  a riding style  comparable to  the more expensive Civia Hyland, this swept-bar street  biycycle  delivers  a controled, comfortable ride that ensures  transporting  and commuting  are a pleasure .

The Aluminum frame and fork are delivered ready for you to fit your rack and fenders as you require, the fork features mid-blade rack mounts and dual dropout eyelets, semi-horizontal dropouts with derailleur tab, and the frame is compatible with caliper rim brakes. Ample standover height and the frame measured from center of BB to top of seat tube collar

All of the bikes designed and manufactured by Civia are named after areas in and around Minneapolis, the manufacturing base for Civia. The Civia Linden was motivated  by the Linden Hills area of Minneapolis, somewhere your really have to see when riding  the trails through  the Chain of Lakes. Nestling beside  the western shore  of Lake Harriet, this quaint urban  community   provides cozy cafés and restaurants for refueling  and fashionable  shops and boutiques for window shopping. It’s also houses the Linden Hills Co-op, a wonderful place  to get your supplies of fresh bread, Brie and fresh fruit for a lakeshore picnic. The nearby  Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway allows you to easily ride to downtown Minneapolis or tour  the leafy suburbs of the metropolis  along  50  miles of paved bike trails .
